Curlew Harlyn

Curlew Harlyn is a two-bedroom apartment for four at Harlyn Bay on the north coast, a short walk from Harlyn Bay Beach. A lift or stairs lead up to the front door, and both the balcony and the main bedroom look out over the bay. One dog is welcome.

The bedrooms are on the entrance level. The main bedroom has a super-king bed, a Smart TV and an en-suite with a walk-in shower, while the second has twin beds, with a family shower room and WC between the two. Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room has patio doors onto the private balcony. The kitchen comes with an induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, wine fridge and Bosch coffee machine, and there is a washing machine. Parking and Wi-Fi are included.

The South West Coast Path runs right past. One way it heads to Trevone Bay, 1.1 miles away, and on towards Padstow; the other way loops round Mother's Ivey Bay, 0.9 miles away, and Trevose Head. Trevose Golf and Country Club is 1 mile away. Padstow, 3 miles by road, sits at one end of the Camel Trail. On site there is a beach shop, a cafe and a tap room serving food, with occasional live music in season.

Prices start from £787 a week. Best for a family or two couples who want two shower rooms, a view of the bay and the coast path at the door, with room for one dog. Less good for anyone who needs step-free living space, since the kitchen and lounge are a flight of stairs above the bedrooms, and for owners travelling with more than one dog.
