At the base of the Karrek development is a tap room, restaurant, and farm shop. The Pig at Harlyn is within walking distance for a more formal dinner. Padstow is a short drive east - harbour restaurants from Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein, boat trips, and the Camel Trail cycle path starting at the harbour. Trevone Bay is 1.5km along the coast path, and Mother Ivey's Bay is 1.6km. Trevose Head lighthouse is roughly a mile north.

Best for couples and families wanting a sheltered family beach with Padstow dining on their doorstep. Less good for surfers - Harlyn is a swim beach; Constantine Bay (more exposed, better surf) is a mile north.
