Darley Cottage

Darley Cottage is a three-storey fisherman's cottage for four in East Looe, on Cornwall's south-east coast. A king-size bedroom occupies the top floor, while the first-floor room combines a small double and an additional single bed. The vaulted ceiling is one of the restored cottage's original architectural details.

Both bedrooms share one bathroom. The living room is on the ground floor, with comfortable chairs, a TV and the dining table, and the kitchen is small. The bathroom is on the first floor, and the top-floor king-size bedroom has a low ceiling and beams. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are provided. Dogs are not accepted at this cottage, so it suits guests travelling without pets.

East Looe Beach is 100 metres from the front door, and the harbour, seafood market, shops and cafes are all reached on foot. Hannafore Beach is 0.6 miles away, with Plaidy Beach at 0.7 miles. The South West Coast Path and Kilminorth Woods are within walking distance, while Polperro harbour is 4 miles by road. The Looe guide covers the wider twin-town setting and its working harbour.

**Best for:** a family or small group wanting central East Looe and the beach within 100 metres. **Less good for:** guests travelling with a dog, or anyone wanting outside space, step-free bedrooms or more than one bathroom.
