Dolls Cottage

Dolls Cottage is a dog-friendly, two-bedroom cottage on Lower Market Street in the centre of Looe, one of south Cornwall's busiest fishing towns. The location puts East Looe Beach just 200m from the front door, with shops, pubs, and the working harbour all within a few minutes' walk.

The cottage has an open-plan ground floor with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, kettle, and toaster. A Smart TV, DVD player, and WiFi are included. One bedroom has a double bed, while the second has a single bed with a trundle. A shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC completes the layout. Public parking is available nearby.

East Looe Beach - a golden sand beach sheltered by the harbour walls - is 200 metres away, with rock pools at low tide and safe swimming conditions. Hannafore Beach on the West Looe side is 900 metres away, known for some of the best rock pooling in Cornwall and welcoming dogs year-round.

Looe is split into East and West across a Victorian bridge, with fishing boats landing their catch on the quayside daily. Boat trips to Looe Island - a Cornwall Wildlife Trust nature reserve - run regularly in summer. The coast path east leads to dramatic cliff walking towards Whitsand Bay, while the route west through woodland reaches Polperro in about an hour.

Best for a couple or small family with a dog wanting to walk to the harbour and beach, since East Looe Beach sits 200 metres away. Less suited to groups wanting self-catering laundry, as the cottage has no washing machine or dishwasher.
