Inside, the open-plan lounge and dining area has a wood burner, exposed granite beams, and slate flooring that are characteristic of West Looe’s older harbour-side cottages. A ground-floor wet room with walk-in shower serves both bedrooms. The kitchen covers the basics - oven, hob, fridge-freezer - but there is no dishwasher or washing machine, so this suits shorter stays better than week-long family trips. Parking for one car is included. Dogs are not accepted.

Outside, a cobbled courtyard shared with four neighbouring cottages gives a sheltered spot for sitting out. The foot ferry running from West Looe quay to East Looe - 40p per crossing - puts the pubs, fish restaurants, and the beach itself within a few minutes without a car. Hannafore Beach, good for rock-pooling at low tide, is 0.6 miles west along the coastal path. Plaidy Beach is 0.9 miles for a quieter stretch of sand.

Best for a couple or pair with a dog wanting a central Looe base within walking distance of the harbour, beach, and eating options. Less good for guests needing laundry facilities, a private courtyard, or more than 3 sleeping spaces.
