Eddystone is a first-floor apartment for four in West Looe, with a double bedroom and a king-size zip-and-link room that splits into twins on request. One bathroom serves both bedrooms.

Two private balconies look in different directions: one towards the sea and St George's Island, the other over the town. Wi-Fi and parking are included, along with access to a shared front lawn, and dogs are accepted. About 50 steps lead up to the building, and internal stairs climb to the first floor. A dishwasher is included. The kitchen is separate, small and well equipped, with an electric oven, ceramic hob and fridge/freezer. Both bedrooms have TVs and share a family bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath. Both balconies have garden furniture.

East Looe Beach and Hannafore Beach are each 400 metres away, and Plaidy Beach is 0.9 miles from the apartment. East Looe's beach sits right in the harbour, sheltered by the walls and good for families, while Hannafore has some of the best rock pools on this stretch of coast. **Best for:** a family or two couples wanting flexible beds, two balconies and beaches within 400 metres, especially for a shorter break.

**Less good for:** guests needing a lift or step-free access, or more than one bathroom.
