Falmouth itself has the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, a twice-weekly street market, and a covered market hall in the town centre. The deep-water harbour hosts tall ships in summer. For groceries and essentials, Carnon Downs is the nearest option; Truro is 6 miles northeast.

Good for couples who want easy rail access to Falmouth without paying harbour-front prices. Less good for anyone needing a washing machine or dishwasher on site, as neither is available in the studio.
