The Palm at OLJU Lodges

The Palm is a lodge at OLJU Lodges on Tremenhere Farm in Ponsanooth, a village in the Kennall River valley roughly 5 miles south-west of Truro. The farm setting keeps the lodge away from road noise, with Falmouth about 5 miles south for a coastal day out.

A private hot tub, wood burner, barbecue and enclosed garden form the outdoor set-up, and private on-site parking is included alongside Wi-Fi. The lodge has a private kitchenette with a coffee machine, an electric kettle and a dining table, plus streaming services. Check-in starts from 16:00. Check-out is by 10:00. Dogs are not accepted.

Kennall Vale, a former 19th-century gunpowder works now managed by Cornwall Wildlife Trust as a nature reserve, is a short walk from the farm, with stone ruins and waterwheel pits set among ancient woodland. Swanpool Beach is 4.8 miles away, Gyllyngvase Beach is 5 miles and Maenporth Beach is 5.2 miles, all on the Falmouth side, so a car is useful for beach days.
