St Enodoc Church - where poet John Betjeman is buried - sits among the dunes between the cottage and the shore. Rock village, 2 miles south along the coast path, has water sports hire and a passenger ferry across to Padstow.

Best for families with dogs and young children who want multiple beach options within a flat walk. Less good for anyone needing a hot tub, sea views, or a large social kitchen - this is a well-located base rather than a destination property.
