Farm Cottage

Farm Cottage is a two-bedroom converted cottage on the Trewinnard Manor estate near St Erth, about 3.5 miles from St Ives. The property sleeps four and has access to a shared heated outdoor swimming pool that operates weekdays between June and September.

Inside, the cottage has a double bedroom and a twin. A bathroom with bath and handheld shower serves both rooms. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine. The sitting room has an open fire, a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, and WiFi. Books, games, and DVDs are provided.

Off-road parking for one car is included. The estate grounds include a shared lawn adjoining the pool, a pool house with refreshments on an honesty basis, and a games room with children's pool table and table tennis. Marazion Beach - golden sand with views of St Michael's Mount - is 2.7 miles away. Porthkidney Beach, a wide dune-backed strand, is 2.8 miles.

St Erth station, in the nearby village, connects to the St Ives Bay branch line for direct train access to St Ives, Carbis Bay, and Lelant. Marazion and the causeway to St Michael's Mount are a short drive east. Penzance is about 5 miles west, providing a base for reaching the Lizard and Land's End.

Best for couples or small families wanting pool access between June and September and rail links to St Ives from St Erth station. Less suited to dog owners, since the cottage is not dog-friendly, or to groups with more than one car, as parking covers just one vehicle.
