Porthmeor Beach, St Ives' main surfing beach, is 500 metres away. St Ives Harbour Beach is also 500 metres in the other direction, and Porthminster Beach is 600 metres further south.

Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are within a 10-minute flat walk. The town's restaurants and independent shops are accessible without a car. Dogs are welcome with no private outdoor space - the beaches and harbour foreshore serve as the outdoor area. No parking is available at the property, which is typical for central St Ives. No dishwasher or washing machine. Good for couples who want a town-centre position with sea views and gallery access; not great for those needing parking or with reduced mobility given the stair access.
