Forge Cottage

Forge Cottage is a single-storey, two-bedroom holiday cottage at Trenance Farm near Mullion on the Lizard, sleeping 4 with access to a shared swimming pool. Polurrian Beach - a golden-sand surf beach backed by cliffs - is just 500 metres away.

Inside, the cottage has a king-size bedroom and a twin, with a bathroom featuring a bath and shower over. The open-plan living and dining room includes an electric fire. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided. Shared on-site laundry facilities are available, along with shared games rooms and paddocks.

A lawned garden and patio with seating adjoin the cottage, and off-road parking is available for one car. The shared outdoor swimming pool operates from late May to early September. Mullion Cove - with its National Trust harbour and rocky beach - is 800 metres away, while Poldhu Cove is 1.1 miles along the coast path.

Mullion is the largest village on the Lizard, with a shop, pubs, and a 13th-century church. The coast path south leads to Kynance Cove, and the Marconi Centre at Poldhu - where the first transatlantic radio signal was sent in 1901 - is a short walk along the cliffs.

**Best for:** a family visiting in high summer, given the shared outdoor pool and the 500-metre walk to Polurrian's surf beach. **Less good for:** a full group of four wanting more than one bathroom between them, or anyone visiting outside late May to early September when the shared pool is closed.
