Jubilee Pool is 100 metres from the front door - the Grade II-listed Art Deco seawater lido opened in 1935, now with a geothermal pool kept at 28 to 30 degrees. Eastern Green Beach, a quiet south-facing bay with views across Mount's Bay toward St Michael's Mount, is about a mile east. Newlyn, England's largest fishing port, is a mile south-west along the promenade. St Michael's Mount itself is 4 miles at Marazion. The GWR Night Riviera sleeper connects Penzance to London Paddington overnight if you prefer to arrive without a long drive. Parking for one car is available in a gated spot.
