Harris's Restaurant

Harris’s is a family-run restaurant at 46 New Street, a side street in the middle of Penzance, and has been serving seafood for over 30 years. Roger and Anne Harris run it as a husband-and-wife business. The fish comes from the port at Newlyn, just over a mile along the bay, and the meat from local farms, with locally grown produce alongside.

It is a small, unshowy restaurant and the Michelin Guide lists it among the Penzance restaurants, suggesting the steamed lobster when it is in season. Dishes that diners mention include Dover sole with chive butter, smoked salmon with Newlyn white crab, monkfish and roast Cornish lamb, though the menu follows the catch and the seasons.
