Mount View is a first-floor two-bedroom flat on Abbey Street in Penzance, tucked just behind the harbour. It sleeps four with one bathroom and a shared garden.

The flat sits above its own front door and is reached by an internal stair, so it isn't step-free. Wi-Fi, dishwasher, and private off-street parking are included. There's no washing machine, no woodburner, and no in-flat outside space - the garden is shared with neighbours. Changeover is Saturday.

Abbey Street is one of the historic lanes between Chapel Street and the seafront. Penzance harbour and the Jubilee Pool lido are both a 5-minute walk. Independent shops, cafes, and pubs on Chapel Street and Market Jew Street are 2 minutes away. The Scillonian III ferry to St Mary's leaves from the harbour. Newlyn, England's largest fishing port, is a 10-minute walk south along the prom. St Michael's Mount at Marazion sits 3 miles east across the bay - 1.4 km away on the seafront is Eastern Green Beach. Penzance station has the GWR sleeper to London Paddington six nights a week.

Best for two couples or a small family wanting a low-cost town-centre base with parking - rare on this side of Penzance. Less good for guests needing step-free access, a private garden, or a sea view.
