Grampys Barn

Grampys Barn is a two-bedroom barn conversion for four in Bray Shop, a rural hamlet on the B3257 about three miles north-west of Callington. One super king bedroom has an en suite, and the second uses a zip-and-link bed that can be made up as a twin on request. Three bathrooms serve the two bedrooms.

A reverse-level layout rises by a grand staircase to an open-plan living space with countryside views, and a wood burner provides the indoor focal point. Outside, an enclosed patio holds a fire pit and barbecue, and private parking takes three cars. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to three dogs can stay.

Downderry Beach is 14 miles away, Plaidy Beach is 14.2 miles and East Looe Beach is 14.8 miles, so this is an inland base for driving to either coast. Bodmin Moor is within easy reach to the west, and Kit Hill, a former mining site rising to 1,096 feet, is about three miles south with views across Dartmoor and the Tamar Valley.
