Trefrize

Trefrize is a one-bedroom cottage for two near Bray Shop, with a double bedroom and one bathroom. Its open fire gives the living space a focal point, while the garden and private driveway add useful outdoor space and parking. WiFi and a washing machine are included.

Up to four dogs are accepted, an unusually generous limit for a property sleeping two. Owners bringing several dogs should ask whether the garden is enclosed and whether any charges apply.

This is an inland base rather than a cottage for daily walks to the shore. Downderry Beach is the nearest named beach at 14 miles, followed by Plaidy Beach at 14.2 miles and East Looe Beach at 14.9 miles. Countryside walks, Bodmin Moor and Devon attractions are the draw instead. A car is the practical way to reach those places and manage supplies.

Parking is included, so the car can stay on the driveway between trips out. Guests who need step-free access should ask the owners about the entrance and the layout inside before booking. Best for a couple travelling with several dogs who want a garden, open fire and rural driving base. Less good for beach-first holidays, car-free visitors, EV drivers or guests needing confirmed step-free access.
