East Looe Beach is 400 metres away, Plaidy Beach is 0.6 miles and Hannafore Beach is 0.7 miles. Looe's shops, pubs and working harbour are all within walking distance, and boat trips to the Looe Island nature reserve leave from the harbour in summer. The town's own railway station on the Looe Valley branch line connects to mainline services at Liskeard.

Parking is included with the apartment, and dogs can stay, which makes it a practical choice for a family or two couples visiting Looe by car with a pet.
