Greeb Rocks Cottage

Greeb Rocks Cottage is a 2-bedroom property in Marazion village, one of the oldest chartered towns in Britain and home to St Michael's Mount. The cottage has a wood burning stove in the sitting room, a sun room with additional seating, and a Juliet balcony off the double bedroom overlooking the village.

The ground floor has a kitchen with dining area, sitting room with the stove, and a sun room. Upstairs, a double bedroom opens onto the Juliet balcony, and a second bedroom has adult-sized bunk beds. The shower room has a shower, basin, and WC. A Sky Glass Smart TV with basic Sky package, dishwasher, and washing machine are included.

An enclosed patio at the rear has outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Off-road parking is provided. Marazion Beach - golden sand with direct views of St Michael's Mount and its causeway - is 600 metres away. Perranuthnoe Beach, a quieter sandy beach with rock pools and beginner surf, is 1.4 miles along the coast.

Marazion's main street runs along the seafront with cafes, galleries, and independent shops. St Michael's Mount is accessible by foot across the granite causeway at low tide, or by harbour boat when the tide is in. Penzance is 2 miles west, and the marshes behind town are an RSPB reserve. Two dogs are welcome.

**Best for:** dog owners wanting a walkable beach base, given the two-dog allowance, the enclosed rear patio, and the 600-metre walk to Marazion Beach. **Less good for:** families with very young children, since the second bedroom has adult-sized bunk beds rather than a cot-friendly single room, and the cottage has only one shower room.
