Greenbells

Greenbells is a stone-built barn conversion for four with a Redruth address, closest to the hilltop village of Carn Brea. Both bedrooms have super-king beds that can be made up as twins on prior request, so the same layout works for couples or friends sharing. One bathroom serves all four guests.

The barn has a garden, private parking and a washing machine, and up to two dogs can stay. There is no Wi-Fi and no dishwasher. Stithians Reservoir is close by for water sports and wildlife watching.

Portreath Beach is 6.6 miles away on the north coast, while Helford Passage and Maenporth Beach are each 6.8 miles south, so reaching either coast means a drive from this inland base. Carn Brea's hill fort, medieval castle and the 1836 Basset Monument are within easy reach, along with the Great Flat Lode Trail through the former mining landscape. Redruth sits on the main London-to-Penzance rail line, with Truro 9 miles east and St Ives about 10 miles west.
