Gwel an Chapel is a three-bedroom reverse-level house in Carbis Bay, set 500 metres from the beach on Porthrepta Road. The sea-facing balcony on the first floor is the main draw - it looks across St Ives Bay from a quiet residential street above the coast.

Inside, the layout puts two bedrooms on the ground floor: one super-king with en-suite walk-in shower, one king-size with en-suite bath. A bunk room sits on the first floor alongside the open-plan living space, which combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. All three bedrooms have TVs with Sky Q, and a Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker serves the main living area. The kitchen includes a gas hob, electric oven, coffee machine and dishwasher.

Outside, a landscaped rear garden provides a second outdoor space beyond the balcony. Off-road parking fits one car. Carbis Bay beach - a Blue Flag sandy cove with seasonal lifeguards - is 500m on foot. Porthkidney Beach, a quieter dune-backed strand popular with birdwatchers, lies 1 mile east.

Carbis Bay sits between St Ives and Hayle on the branch line railway. St Ives is a 25-minute walk along the coast path or one stop on the train. The South West Coast Path runs through the village, connecting west to Lelant and east to St Ives harbour.
