Gwylan House

Gwylan House is a Grade II-listed granite fisherman's cottage for five in Mousehole, with two of its three bedrooms looking directly across the harbour.

The sleeping arrangement comprises a king-size room, a double and a single with a pull-out trundle bed if needed, and two bathrooms serve the house. The ground-floor lounge shares the harbour outlook and has a wood burner for cooler evenings, with granite work surfaces in the kitchen. Wi-Fi is included, but there is no parking, garden or dishwasher, and dogs are not accepted.

Mousehole Beach is 100 metres away, a sheltered cove between the village's stone harbour piers. The village's granite lanes, tea rooms and the Ship Inn, home of the Tom Bawcock's Eve stargazy pie each December, are also within a short walk. For a longer outing, Lamorna Cove is 1.8 miles along the South West Coast Path, a rocky inlet once favoured by the Lamorna artist colony.
