A three-bedroom cottage on Chapel Place in Mousehole, 200m from the harbour beach at the foot of the village. The layout spans three floors, with one double bedroom featuring an en-suite bathroom, a second double, and a twin on the upper floor - sleeping six across three bathrooms in total. Off-road parking for one car is included, and the enclosed rear garden has a BBQ and table and chairs.

The open fire in the sitting room makes this a practical year-round base. Mousehole harbour dates from the 14th century and the village hosts Tom Bawcock’s Eve on 23rd December each year, when a traditional stargazey pie is carried through the streets. The South West Coast Path runs along the harbour wall and connects south to Lamorna Cove, 1.9 miles along the cliffs.

The village has a bakery, a deli, and several pubs within a five-minute walk. Newlyn fish market is 1.2 miles north along the shore - the largest fishing harbour in Cornwall by catch volume. Penzance town centre, with the Jubilee Pool lido and rail connections, is 3.1 miles north by road.

Best for couples or a family of six wanting a village base within 200m of the water. The three floors and open fire suit autumn and winter trips well. Less good for guests needing step-free access, as the terraced layout involves stairs throughout.
