Bos Lowen

Bos Lowen is a detached, dog-friendly cottage near the village of Mousehole, the granite-built fishing port 3 miles south of Penzance. The property has two bedrooms sleeping four guests in a reverse-level layout - bedrooms on the ground floor, living space above.

Two ground-floor double bedrooms each have Smart TVs; one includes an en-suite shower room. A second shower room is also on the ground floor. Upstairs, the open-plan first floor combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a woodburning stove. The property has gas hob cooking, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, WiFi, and a selection of books and games.

Outside, a lawned garden has furniture and a barbecue, with off-road parking for one medium or two small cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The nearest pub is 0.1 miles away.

Mousehole Beach is 0.6 miles from the cottage - a sheltered harbour beach with sandy shore at low tide. Lamorna Cove, the rocky inlet favoured by early 20th-century painters, is 2.1 miles along the coast path. The South West Coast Path connects Mousehole to Newlyn (1.5 miles east) and onwards to Penzance, where mainline rail and the Isles of Scilly ferry operate from. Each December, Mousehole's harbour light display and Tom Bawcock's Eve celebration draw visitors to the village.
