The cottage has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open fire in the living room for off-season evenings. Wifi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included, and the layout is set up for accessible use. Dogs are welcome, with the enclosed rear garden useful for off-lead time.

On-site parking is the standout for Mousehole. Most village properties have none, and the public car park at the top of the hill fills by mid-morning in summer. Carveth's parking sits beside the cottage.

Mousehole's harbour is around five minutes downhill, with the Ship Inn, the Rock Pool cafe and a handful of galleries along the quay. The Christmas harbour lights run through December and draw crowds county-wide. The South West Coast Path leaves the village south to Lamorna Cove (1.9 miles) and north to Newlyn (1 mile). Penzance, with its Scilly ferry and mainline rail terminus, is 3 miles north.

Best for couples after a quiet, dog-friendly base with a car space and step-free layout. Less good for larger groups - it sleeps two despite the second bedroom.
