Mural Cottage

Mural Cottage is a Grade II listed 18th-century property in Mousehole, a granite fishing village 3 miles south of Penzance. The cottage stands metres from the harbour and the village's small sheltered beach, spread across three floors.

The ground floor has a sitting room with electric fire heating. A lower ground floor kitchen includes a dining area, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, and dishwasher. Three bedrooms are arranged above: one king-size double, one twin, and one single room. A bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC serves the upper floors, with an additional WC and basin on a separate level. Wi-Fi is available throughout.

There is no private garden, but the village lanes and harbour front are immediately outside. Public car parking is available nearby. The cottage sleeps five across the three bedrooms.

Mousehole Beach, a calm sandy cove sheltered by the harbour's 14th-century breakwater, is 100 metres from the front door. Lamorna Cove, a rocky inlet with clear water for snorkelling and a seasonal cafe, sits 1.8 miles west along the South West Coast Path. The village itself has galleries, restaurants, and the Ship Inn - home of the Tom Bawcock's Eve stargazy pie celebration each December. Bus route 6 connects Mousehole to Penzance every 30 minutes in summer.
