Harbour View

Two outdoor spaces set Harbour View apart: a seaward-facing private balcony off the living area, and a south-facing terrace at the rear that catches the sun. It is a penthouse at the Gwel Marten apartments on Headland Road in Carbis Bay, and it is for adults only. Children and infants are not accepted.

The living area is open plan, with a wall of windows across the sitting, dining and kitchen space. There is an oak dining table with four chairs, and the balcony has a rattan table with four chairs. The kitchen has Corian worktops, an oven, a halogen hob, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a coffee maker. The king-size bedroom is at the rear with a Freeview TV. The bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower. Heating is electric. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included, and there is WiFi.

Guests can use the communal gardens, which lead down to the South West Coast Path and the beach, 0.2 miles away. The shop is 0.3 miles and the pub 1.1 miles. Parking is for one car in a space 1.98m high, 2.68m wide and 5.79m deep, across Headland Road from the building. The stairs to the apartment are three flights with a handrail.

It suits a couple, and it sleeps two adults. It is less good for anyone who finds stairs hard, and families cannot book it. No pets and no smoking. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
