The double and twin bedrooms share a single bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle - worth knowing for two-couple bookings. Kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine, WiFi throughout. The garden is fully enclosed, which matters for dogs off-lead. No EV charging on site. The cottage is not step-free; it isn't suited to mobility issues.

Helstone is a small hamlet on the A39, 3 miles north-east of Camelford and 4 miles south of Tintagel. Tregardock Beach is 3.4 miles north-west - long, sandy, low-tide-only access via a field walk that keeps the crowds out. Tintagel Castle (English Heritage, King Arthur connection) and Port Isaac harbour are both 4 miles. Boscastle harbour 6 miles north. The Camel Trail at Wadebridge (8 miles south) gives 18 miles of car-free cycling along the Camel Estuary.

Best for couples or families with one child wanting a working fire, a dog-friendly garden, and inland access to the King Arthur coast. Less good for two-couple groups (one bathroom) or guests wanting walk-out beach or harbour access.
