Heron's Reach

Herons Reach is a three-bedroom house at Pendra Loweth in Goldenbank, 2.4 miles from Falmouth. It sleeps six, and the private, enclosed decking beside the stream has a dining table and a picnic bench.

The bedrooms are a double with an en-suite shower, a second double and a twin. The twin's two single beds are for children only, so the house works for four adults plus two children rather than six adults. The house has two bathrooms, the en-suite and a family bathroom with a bath, a shower over it and a heated towel rail, plus a separate cloakroom with a basin and WC.

The living space is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric flame-effect stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, and heating is electric. There is one allocated off-road parking space and visitor parking as well. Car charging points are outside the resort office.

Guests can use the resort's tennis courts and children's play area, and there is a bar, restaurant and shop on site, plus a shared splash pool and jacuzzi. The bar, restaurant, pool and jacuzzi keep seasonal hours, usually April to October. A laundry room has two washing machines and two driers. The beach is 1.3 miles away.

Bookings are for holidays and leisure only, not work trips, and commercial vehicles are not allowed. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. It suits two couples with children or one family; it is less good for six adults, because the twin room is for children.
