Heron is a one-bedroom ground-floor apartment at Tate Reach in Barnoon, St Ives, sleeping 2 with a dog and garden access. It sits on the hillside between the surf and the harbour, which puts three separate beaches within a 5-minute walk of the front door.

The location matters more than the apartment itself. Porthmeor Beach is 200m north - the surfing beach below the Tate St Ives gallery. The harbour beach is 200m south, calmer and family-used at low tide. Porthminster Beach, the longest of the town's beaches, is 400m and has a beachside cafe. Parking is included, which saves the hassle of St Ives' limited pay-and-display in summer.
