Hideaway Barn is a single-storey converted barn on Charlestown Road, 400 metres from Charlestown's Georgian harbour and beach. The property sleeps four in two bedrooms.

The layout is entirely on one level. A king-size double bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom has stacker beds. The open-plan living area combines a sitting area, kitchen (with microwave, fridge, and dishwasher), and dining space. A separate bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin, and WC. An external utility room houses the washing machine. Off-road parking for two cars is included.

The property is reached via 100 yards of hardcore lane. Charlestown Beach - a coarse sand and rock shore beside the harbour, with rock pools at low tide - is 400 metres away. Carlyon Bay, a long sandy beach with a gently sloping seabed and watersports hire, is 900 metres.

Charlestown is a Georgian harbour village built in the 1790s by Charles Rashleigh for china clay export, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for BBC's Poldark. Tall ships are moored in the harbour year-round. The Shipwreck Treasure Museum holds over 8,000 artefacts from 165 shipwrecks. The Eden Project is a 10-minute drive inland, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are roughly 5 miles along the coast road.
