Holly Lodge

Holly Lodge is a Baltic pine lodge on a working farm in rolling countryside, 2 miles from the small village of Lanivet. It is fully insulated and centrally heated, with all of its rooms on the ground floor. A full-width veranda and a patio with garden furniture face the far-reaching views.

The living room has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a washer dryer and a dishwasher, and open plan dining and sitting areas. A Smart TV, a DVD player, WiFi, books, games and DVDs are provided. The one bedroom has a king-size bed with an orthopaedic mattress, and the en suite bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Gas central heating is included with fuel and power, along with bed linen and towels, though beach towels need to be brought. A travel cot and highchair are available, and there is lockable storage.

Out at the front, a paddock of almost two acres in front of Holly and Willow lodges has been opened up, with benches for sitting and looking out over the countryside. There is off-road parking for 2 cars. The shop and pub are 2 miles away, and Bodmin is 5 miles from Lanivet. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Changeover is on Saturday, and school-holiday bookings are for 7 nights only. Short breaks must run Saturday to Saturday, and changeover becomes Friday from 2027. It can be booked with five other lodges on the same site, sleeping 21 in all. A single bedroom means it suits a couple best, and it is less good for anyone travelling with children or a dog.
