Dog-friendly studio near Lanivet with an enclosed garden and decking
Bramble Barn is a one-bedroom studio barn conversion near Lanivet sleeping 2, with a ground-floor layout throughout. The studio is dog-friendly and has an enclosed garden, off-road parking, wifi, and a washing machine. The studio has one bathroom. Friday changeover.
The barn is set at Little Bowgie, a hamlet between Lanivet village and Bodmin. The studio is open plan, with kitchen, dining area, sitting area and king-size bed, and a separate shower room; there is a private decked area with furniture. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. The enclosed garden is a practical asset for dogs. There is an electric vehicle charging point, arranged directly with the owner at extra cost.
Lanivet is about 3 miles southwest of Bodmin. The Eden Project is roughly 5 miles southeast - a useful day out from this central location. Lanhydrock, a National Trust Victorian country house with 900 acres of grounds, is about 3 miles east. The nearest beach is Carlyon Bay at 7.9 miles, with Charlestown beach 8.1 miles away and Porthpean 8.5 miles. The Saints Way long-distance path between Padstow and Fowey passes through Lanivet village.
No children are accepted, though babes in arms can stay. Best for couples or solo travellers wanting dog-friendly accommodation and a central Cornwall base for day trips inland and to both coasts. Less good for those prioritising beach proximity - this is very much an inland property.
