Willow Lodge

Willow Lodge is a log cabin built from square Baltic pine logs, on a farm with far-reaching views, and it is set up for a couple. It stands on a farm near Lanivet, and the shop and pub are 2 miles away. A full-width covered veranda runs along the front, and a patio sits beside it.

There is a single bedroom, on the ground floor like the rest of the lodge, with a super king-size bed. The bed is a zip-and-link pair, so it can be split into twin beds on request. The en suite has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a WC. The open plan living area has a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a washer dryer and a dishwasher, plus dining and sitting areas, a Smart TV, a DVD player, WiFi, and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Gas central heating warms the lodge, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, although you should bring your own beach towels. Two travel cots and highchairs are available.

In front of Willow and Holly lodges, a paddock of almost two acres has been opened up for walks and sitting out. Parking is off road for one car. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Changeover day is Saturday, and school-holiday bookings are for 7 nights only. Short breaks must run Saturday to Saturday, and from 2027 changeover moves to Friday. The lodge can also be booked alongside five other lodges on the same site, and together they sleep 21.

From Lanivet, Bodmin is 5 miles away, the south coast is 8 miles and the north coast beaches are about 12 miles. With one bedroom, the lodge suits a couple, and it is less good for a family or a group.
