Honeysuckle Cottage

Honeysuckle Cottage is a two-bedroom property on Quay Road in St Agnes, 500 metres from Trevaunance Cove and roughly a minute's walk from the village pub. The cottage sits in a former mining village on Cornwall's north coast, where the Wheal Coates engine house on the cliffs and St Agnes Beacon above the rooftops define the local skyline.

The two bedrooms are upstairs - one with a double bed, the other with a double and a single bunk over, accommodating up to five guests. A bathroom with bath, shower over, heated towel rail and basin serves the whole cottage. Downstairs, the kitchen-diner is separate from the sitting room, which has a woodburning stove. Note: the stairs are slightly narrow and ceilings are low in places. Oil central heating, a washing machine, TV and WiFi are included.

Off-road parking fits one car. An enclosed front patio has outdoor furniture. Trevaunance Cove - good for surfing and bodyboarding, lifeguarded in summer - is 500 metres downhill. Trevellas Cove, a quieter shingle beach suited to snorkelling, is 0.6 miles north along the coast path.

The village has independent shops, galleries, cafes and a pub within a few minutes' walk. The South West Coast Path connects St Agnes to Chapel Porth beach and Porthtowan in either direction. Perranporth, with its wide sandy beach, is 3 miles further along the coast.
