Honeywood

Honeywood is a Canadian log cabin near Little Petherick, a wooded creek hamlet 2 miles south of Padstow, sleeping six across three bedrooms. Each bedroom converts between a super king-size bed and twins, letting the group choose its own configuration.

Two bathrooms serve the three bedrooms. Separate lounges and a games table give the cabin more spread-out living space than a typical holiday cottage, and a large terrace and balcony look out over open countryside. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to three dogs can stay. There is no barbecue, hot tub or wood burner.

Little Petherick Creek, a tidal inlet of the Camel Estuary, winds past the hamlet, and the Camel Trail cycle path connects to both Padstow and Wadebridge. Trevone Bay is 2.9 miles away, Harlyn Bay Beach 3.4 miles and Daymer Bay Beach 3.6 miles further round the coast. Padstow itself, with its harbour and restaurants, is a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk north along the lane.
