Maple Lodge

Maple Lodge is a Canadian-style wooden lodge for six in a wooded valley near Little Petherick, a hamlet about 2 miles south of Padstow. One king-size room, one double and one twin are served by two bathrooms, suiting a family or friends who want three distinct sleeping arrangements.

A large, south-facing decked balcony overlooks the countryside, while a rockery garden holds plants, shrubs, palms and foliage. Parking, a dishwasher, washing machine and barbecue are included, and up to two dogs can stay. There is no Wi-Fi and no EV charging.

Trevone Bay is 2.9 miles away, Harlyn Bay Beach 3.4 miles and Daymer Bay 3.5 miles. The hamlet sits beside Little Petherick Creek, a tidal inlet of the Camel Estuary overlooked by the 14th-century church of St Petroc Minor. Little Petherick itself has no pub or shop, but Padstow's harbour and restaurants are a five-minute drive or a 30-minute walk north along the lane, and the Camel Trail is accessible from both directions of the valley. **Best for:** families or friends wanting three bed types, two bathrooms, a large balcony and room for two dogs. **Less good for:** guests dependent on Wi-Fi, EV drivers, or anyone needing verified step-free access.
