Horizon The Views

Horizon The Views is a one-bedroom glamping pod for two near Morwenstow, Cornwall's most northerly parish, with a king-size bed and panoramic views across rolling fields.

The pod is one studio-style room for living, cooking, dining and sleeping, with a breakfast bar for two and a separate shower room. A wood burner, dishwasher and washing machine are fitted into the compact pod, along with EV charging and parking outside. A private terrace with oak furniture and a firepit gives extra space to sit out, and the lawn beside it is fully enclosed. Up to three dogs can stay.

The pod has direct access to the South West Coast Path, which runs along cliffs reaching over 400 feet here, close to Hawker's Hut, the National Trust driftwood hut built by the parish's Victorian vicar. Duckpool Beach is 3.4 miles away, Sandymouth Beach 4.3 miles and Northcott Mouth Beach 5.2 miles, all requiring a car for a beach day with equipment. Bude, the nearest town with shops and a supermarket, is about 6 miles south.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a wood burner, EV charging and coast-path access from the door.

**Less good for:** guests needing a beach within walking distance or step-free access.
