Charlestown Beach is 1.1km from the property. Carlyon Bay - a larger, more exposed sandy beach - is 1.5km in the other direction. Porthpean Beach, a quieter option popular with families, is also 1.5km. St Austell town centre, with a Morrisons and rail connections, is around 10 minutes by car.
Suits couples or small families who want a proper coastal base with the added comfort of a hot tub. Good for off-season breaks when the EV charger and BBQ justify the price. Not ideal for guests needing on-site parking beyond one vehicle, or those looking for a lively beach strip - Charlestown is quiet by design.
