All three bedrooms open onto their own terrace or balcony, and the top-floor sitting room, dining area and kitchen run open-plan with harbour and bay views. Luxury cotton bed linen and towels are provided throughout. A double garage across the road holds two cars, though a car isn't essential this close to town - most guests walk in.

Gyllyngvase Beach is around 1,200 metres away, with Castle Beach a similar distance and Swanpool Beach 1.1 miles further round the headland. The coast path runs past Pendennis Point to reach both. In town, Falmouth's restaurants, quayside bars and galleries sit within easy walking distance, and ferries from the harbour run to Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick gardens, plus the waterside villages of Flushing, St Mawes and Helford.

Best for three couples sharing, since each bedroom has its own access to outside space, or a family of up to six and a baby. Less good for a single couple wanting a compact base, given the four-level layout involves stairs throughout.
