Kensa

Kensa is a single-storey cottage in Carharrack, a small village near Redruth in Cornwall's mining heartland. The property has underfloor heating throughout - powered by an air-source heat pump - and a private hot tub on an enclosed side patio, making it well suited to visits in any season.

Two double bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower over. The open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining space, and sitting room, with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and Smart TV included. WiFi is provided, though phone signal can be intermittent. A highchair and travel cot are available. Three dogs are welcome.

A private driveway offers off-road parking for 2 cars. The front lawn has patio furniture, though this area is not enclosed. The enclosed side patio houses the hot tub. The nearest pub is 0.4 miles away, with a shop about 1 mile.

Portreath Beach, a lifeguarded sandy beach on the north coast with good surf and rock pools, is 5.7 miles away. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes sits 6.2 miles north. The cottage is centrally placed within the Cornwall Mining World Heritage Site, with the Great Flat Lode trail and Carn Brea both accessible nearby, and Falmouth's beaches about 8 miles to the south.
