Mordros Lodge

Mordros Lodge is a single-storey two-bedroom lodge on a quiet site near St Day, a former mining village about 3 miles south of Redruth. The property comes with a private hot tub on the side decking and off-road parking for two cars.

The lodge has one king-size bedroom with an en-suite walk-in shower and one twin bedroom. A separate shower room serves the rest of the property. The open-plan living space combines a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, plus a dining area and sitting room with an electric coal-effect fire. Wi-Fi and a TV are provided.

Outside, the side decking is furnished and includes the hot tub. The lodge sits within a holiday park setting with a garden area. Gas central heating keeps the interior warm in cooler months. Bed linen and towels are included. Note that there are steps up to the property entrance.

St Day village has a pub and stores within 0.3 miles. The nearest coast is at Portreath Beach, 5.3 miles north - a sandy, lifeguarded beach backed by a historic harbour. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 5.8 miles away, with surf, cafes, and the remains of old mine workings visible on the cliffs. The Great Flat Lode trail passes through the area for walking and cycling.

Best for couples or small families wanting a private hot tub within walking distance of St Day's pub and shops. Less suited to those needing step-free access or bringing a dog, since there are steps to the entrance and dogs are not accepted.
