Minack Lodge

The hot tub sits on the enclosed rear terrace of Minack Lodge, next to a sofa and a garden table with chairs. Indoors, this single-storey lodge in St Day has an open-plan kitchen/diner and sitting area with an electric fire, a Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are all included in the stay.

It sleeps four across two bedrooms. The double has a TV and an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The family room, also with a TV, holds a double and a single bed. A separate shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC gives the lodge two bathrooms in all. The kitchen has an electric double oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and a breakfast bar, and central heating covers the colder months.

One dog is welcome. Private off-road parking takes two cars, and the lodge is non-smoking. A shop is 0.2 miles away and a pub 0.3 miles. Please note the steps leading up to the entrance.

The lodge suits a family of four or two couples who want a private hot tub at the end of a day out; the entrance steps make it less good for anyone who finds steps difficult. Truro is 7 miles away, Porthtowan 5 miles, Portreath 6 miles and Falmouth 10 miles, and East Pool Mine and Cornwall Gold are among the attractions within reach.
