Upstairs on the second floor are three bedrooms - a king-size with en-suite shower room and Juliet balcony, a super-king (convertible to twin), and a twin with 2.5-foot beds (convertible to king-size). The twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand have pubs and cafes within a short drive. Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, with 865 acres of parkland, is about 2 miles north along the peninsula.

**Best for:** larger family groups wanting separate floors for space, given the four bedrooms spread across three levels, the ground-floor cinema room for downtime, and two dogs welcome at £25 each per week. **Less good for:** anyone who cannot manage stairs, since three of the four bedrooms are on the second floor and the kitchen and living area sit on the first, leaving only a bedroom and a cloakroom WC at entrance level.
