Pentreath occupies three floors in the village of Kingsand on the Rame Peninsula, sleeping 9 across 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. Kingsand Beach is 100 metres away - a short walk through the village streets. Cawsand Beach is 300 metres in the other direction, sheltered by the headland and calmer for young swimmers. Both coves face south, which means they hold more warmth than the north-facing beaches further up the coast.

The cottage has an open fire and an enclosed garden, and dogs are welcome. Wi-Fi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. Sea views from the upper floors take in Plymouth Sound and the Devon hills beyond - a different visual register than the Atlantic-facing properties further west.

Kingsand and Cawsand sit at the tip of the Rame Peninsula, sometimes called Cornwall's forgotten corner. There are no amusement arcades or surf schools here - the two villages share a handful of pubs, a community shop, and a regular foot passenger ferry to Plymouth in season. Plymouth is also accessible by road in about 20 minutes via the Tamar Bridge. Whitsand Bay, a 1.9 miles stretch of sand backed by low cliffs, is 3.5 miles north and accessible by coast path or car.
