Lakeview Villa

Lakeview Villa is a detached house on an estate near Liskeard, which is 3 miles away. It sleeps six, and the grounds include a lake, a river and woodland footpaths.

The double and the twin bedrooms are both on the ground floor, next to a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite bath, basin and WC. On the first floor a sitting room opens onto a balcony. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and there is a separate dining room. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included. A highchair and cot are available on request.

Off-road parking takes two cars. The garden has furniture, and guests share a tennis court. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a supplement per dog, and smoking is not allowed. There is an unfenced lake and river in the grounds, so children must be supervised. The water supply comes from a borehole. The shop is 2.6 miles away, the pub 1.4 miles and the river 0.1 miles.

Weekly stays start on a Saturday, and 3-night breaks can start on a Friday or Monday. The house suits families or friends who want space and outdoor room. It is less good for anyone with young children who wander, given the unfenced water.
