Lamellyon Roundhouse

Lamellyon Roundhouse is a one-bedroom annexe sleeping two in rolling countryside near Fowey, on the south Cornwall coast. The Roundhouse was formerly a working annexe to the main barn next door and now offers compact accommodation for a couple, with private parking and a surrounding garden.

Inside, sleeping is in a single double bed, with one bathroom. The cottage includes wifi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and accessible features. Two small or medium dogs or one large dog are welcome, suiting guests travelling with pets.

Outside, the grassy garden is fenced off from the surrounding farmland, with space for outside dining. Livestock graze in the adjoining fields from time to time, so dogs should be supervised near the boundary. The position puts the property in open farmland, with coastal walks on the National Trust headlands accessible within a couple of miles.

The National Trust beaches at Lansallos and Lantic Bay lie around 2 miles away, with free parking for members. The Old Ferry Inn at Bodinnick sits one mile away for pub food, and Fowey - reached via the ferry - offers a wider choice of restaurants, pubs, and shops. A boat park with slipway is half a mile from the property, and the Eden Project is within easy reach.

Best for couples or solo travellers who want a quiet farm retreat close to the south Cornwall coast without the summer crowds of Fowey itself. Less good for anyone expecting the annexe to be fully separated from the main barn; the adjacent working farm means this is a rural working environment, not a private retreat.
