Lamorna Cottage

Lamorna Cottage is a two-storey Cornish cottage for four in Delabole, a village 3 miles west of Camelford that grew up around England's oldest working slate quarry. A wood burner sits in the front room's inglenook fireplace, one of the cottage's original features.

The two bedrooms are a double overlooking the village playing fields and a bunk room, sharing a single bathroom. Wi-Fi and a dishwasher are provided, and dogs are accepted. There is no parking space with the cottage, no hot tub and no washing machine, so guests should check street parking locally. The small front garden has a lawn, outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue.

Tregardock Beach is 1.7 miles away, Bossiney Cove Beach 3.4 miles and Port Gaverne 4.5 miles, all reached by the coast road. Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac are each within a 15-minute drive, and the quarry's viewing area and showroom sit within the village itself. The South West Coast Path runs along the coastline a few miles from the cottage.
