Lamorna View

Lamorna View is a one-bedroom cottage for two in Lamorna, a narrow wooded valley leading down to the cove about 4 miles south of Penzance and once home to a colony of early-20th-century artists. The cottage was refurbished for the 2026 season, and the king-size bedroom and living space now carry Art Deco touches.

One bathroom serves the cottage, and a wood burner gives the living room a focus in cooler weather. The private landscaped garden has its own hot tub. Parking is provided, but there is no Wi-Fi, dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue or EV charging, and dogs are not accepted.

Lamorna Cove is 500 metres away, with the South West Coast Path running past the cottage towards the cove's 1850s granite quay. Mousehole Beach is 1.6 miles along the coast and Penberth Cove 3.3 miles. The Merry Maidens stone circle stands about half a mile inland, and the Lamorna Wink pub sits partway up the valley. The coast path also leads west towards Tater Du lighthouse and the cliffs above Porthcurno.
