Kiddleywink

Kiddleywink is a one-bedroom cottage for two in Lamorna, 300 metres from the cove along the valley road.

A double bedroom and one bathroom keep the layout simple for a couple, with open-plan living combining the kitchen and sitting room. A wood burner and an open fire both heat the space. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

The garden catches the sun for outdoor meals, and the Lamorna Wink pub, partway down the valley towards the cove, offers an alternative to cooking. The Merry Maidens stone circle, a Bronze Age monument of 19 granite stones, stands half a mile inland.

Lamorna Cove is 300 metres away and fills with clear water at high tide over its small rocky beach. Mousehole Beach is 1.8 miles and Penberth Cove 3 miles further along a coast path that also runs west to Tater Du lighthouse, past granite headlands towards Porthcurno.
